Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Lentis, the photography studio platform at lentis.photos, also referred to as Lentis in parts of the service. By using Lentis, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business or studio, you must be authorized to act for that organization. Questions can be sent to checotrevino@gmail.com.

Accounts and access

You must be at least 18 to open and administer a studio account. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and shared links, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Each person should use their own account. Studio administrators are responsible for the members they invite and the permissions they grant. Client access may depend on a studio invitation, booking, or gallery permission.

The service and your photography business

Lentis provides tools for studio websites, client management, bookings, agreements, galleries, delivery, and related operations. Features may depend on your plan, configuration, or pilot availability. The photographer or studio remains responsible for its photography services, pricing, client agreements, permissions, taxes, refunds, and delivery commitments. Lentis is not the photographer and does not become a party to a studio's client agreement merely by hosting it.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in photographs and other content you provide. You grant Lentis permission to host, store, copy, process, resize, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the features you use and carry out your sharing and delivery instructions. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work to us.

You must have the rights and consents needed to upload, process, publish, and share your content, including appropriate consent for photographs of other people and children. Respect the intellectual-property and privacy rights of others. Client download access does not grant rights beyond the photographer's license or agreement.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lentis for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing activity; upload malicious software; distribute illegal content; attempt to access another studio's data; evade access controls; or interfere with the service. Do not send unsolicited messages through the platform or use other people's personal information without an appropriate basis. We may investigate reports and restrict content or access reasonably necessary to address violations or protect users.

Plans, payments, and cancellation

Any paid plan's price, billing period, included features, and renewal conditions will be presented before purchase. You are responsible for charges you authorize and applicable taxes. Payment processing is provided by third parties. A studio's client payments and cancellation terms are separate from its Lentis subscription.

You may request subscription cancellation through available account controls or by contacting us. The terms disclosed at purchase govern when cancellation takes effect and any applicable refunds, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law. We will disclose material pricing changes before they apply to a future billing period. These terms do not create a payment obligation for a feature you have not agreed to purchase.

Privacy and third-party services

Our privacy policy explains how information is handled. You are responsible for appropriate notices and permissions for client data you provide. Google sign-in and other connected services have their own terms and availability. Authorize only integrations you intend to use; a third-party outage or revoked authorization may affect related Lentis features.

Availability and responsibility

We work to maintain the service, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free software, or that every feature will fit every business need. Keep appropriate independent copies of important photographs and business records, and review outputs before relying on them. Pilot or preview features may change or be withdrawn.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits responsibility for fraud or intentional misconduct. Any specific written service commitment we make to you remains applicable.

Suspension, closure, and records

You may stop using Lentis and request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, unpaid agreed charges, legal requirements, or a security risk. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to address it.

Before closing a studio, download the records and photographs you need using the available tools or contact support for assistance. Closure may remove client and team access. Deletion and any retained records are handled as described in our privacy policy; closure does not cancel obligations already incurred or require destruction of records we must lawfully retain.

Changes and resolving questions

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the effective date and provide advance notice of material changes where required. If you disagree with an update, stop using the affected service and contact us about closure. Please contact checotrevino@gmail.com first with any concern so we can work toward a resolution. Applicable law and any rights you have to seek a remedy remain available.
